Why Intentful not Intentional

Why intentful and not intentional: I was thinking about how much time I spend just thinking but not actually doing and laughed to myself that I was a "thoughtful" person but what I need to be is an "intentful" person. My thoughts need to transcend into intentional action and thus I need to move away from being "thoughtful" to "intentful".

First Solids

Right around her 5 month birthday Little Hannah got to have her fist taste of solid foods. It is funny how different things change in three years-when L was a babe it was six months before introducing solids, but with Hannah we were told it has been changed to four months, probably it will be nine months in another few years and then back to something like two months. Anyway, Joe and L waited anxiously for that first bite, while I dragged my feet on picking up the rice cereal. I don't want my last baby to grow up too fast! (Yeah, probably should get this under control or start her therapy fund now).

Wondering what all the fuss is about.

L pulling up her chair.
First bite given and REJECTED.
While Hannah went to eating her fist Joe asked me what milk to cereal ration I used. Oops, I made it for an older eater not for a first timer. So...
...while Hannah waited again Joe went and fixed the cereal to a almost milk like texture.
L ever so carefully got it to Hannah's mouth, and...
...Hannah thought about it.
Chewed on her bib a bit, but...
...then decided to happily open up for more.
And happily ate it.

Cause unlike her big sister Hannah likes rice cereal :-)
However, although never was a fan of eating it Hannah's big sister sure likes feeding rice cereal to her.

  1. I love the pictures of L feeding her! Also, I love that your girls wear satin to their first meals. Very fancy :)
