Sun? What is that?

This is a whine. But a very justified whine at that.
Portland is not known for great weather, but this is verging on ridiculous. In 2011 we have had two clear days in January, two clear days in February, and prior to yesterday the last clear day was 41 days ago (Feb. 25th). To top it off the temperatures have barley been making it to 50's most days and we have only had TWO days in 2011 that hit 60*!
Last year, 2010, was a bad weather year too-in fact wettest, grayest spring till 2011 decided to be the new record breaker. Last year winter lasted till mid-July (seriously barley 50* wet and gray every freakin' day till mid July!) And since last March we have had less than 8 weeks total of sunshine-utterly ridiculous! If we are to have an anomolay of weather why can't it go the other way? Why has a perpetual rain cloud landed over us and is refusing to move?
Well the sun is peaking through so I am grabbing L and getting outside!
