Why Intentful not Intentional
Why intentful and not intentional: I was thinking about how much time I spend just thinking but not actually doing and laughed to myself that I was a "thoughtful" person but what I need to be is an "intentful" person. My thoughts need to transcend into intentional action and thus I need to move away from being "thoughtful" to "intentful".

Infant Car Seat For Volkswagon Jetta-Peg Perego Primo Viaggio
This post is for anyone out there trying to figure out what infant car seat will actually fit in their Jetta. My hope is that this post pulls up on someone's google search and helps them avoid the hours I spent reading forums trying to find an answer.Cause anyone with a Jetta knows the majority of the infant carriers out there will only fit if one of the front seats all the way to the front, basically eliminating the possibility of two passengers in the front of your VW. I know for certain that the following do not fit:
-The Graco Snugride 30 & 35
-The Chicco Key Fit 30
-The Britax Chaperone
However, hope is found in the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio. Actually, not only does it fit, it fits with plenty of room to move the front seat back to fit my 6 ft husband. I know it is on the spender side but it is less expensive than buying a new car. Plus the Peg has some great features (e.g. not having to take apart the carseat to adjust the straps) as well as great safety ratings (especially for side impact).

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! We realy needed that lead after spending an entire afternoon trying six different deats to find an infant carrier that had a prayer of fitting into my jetta 2000 while still allowing me, my husband, our dog and baby to fit! Google popped it up just like you hoped and your post has given me hope we won't have to sell the car! Now to track down a store with that seat in stock and try it out!
ReplyDeleteAgain, thanks so much for the twenty minutes you spent typing this post...you have saved me hours of tears and frustration!
THANK YOU! this was the first post to come up and answered my question right away! We have to get a new car because someone ran a red light and hit me and my 7 week old son. We were ok but the car wasn't. We replaced our car seat with the same one we had originally bought and its the Peg Perego. So now onto finding a new car, my husband loves jettas and we are considering it and wanted to make sure it fit. THANK YOU for doing all the work for me:)
ReplyDeleteHow much does it weigh exactly?
ReplyDeleteWhile searching on Google for "Britax Chaperone car seat in VW Jetta Sportswagen 2012", I also came across following post, which suggests that Chaperone may fit.
