Why Intentful not Intentional

Why intentful and not intentional: I was thinking about how much time I spend just thinking but not actually doing and laughed to myself that I was a "thoughtful" person but what I need to be is an "intentful" person. My thoughts need to transcend into intentional action and thus I need to move away from being "thoughtful" to "intentful".

more not so typical us (family pictures take 2)

A friend of Joe's from work offered to do our family photos so last week we met up with him one evening. The key word to destruction here is evening-Linnea is generally asleep by 7pm and by the time we got started it was after 6:30pm. Oh well, you live and learn. Also, you learn that even if you are in a rush and the baby keeps wanting to eat you still need to iron your shirt cause those wrinkles do show up in the picture-curse wishful thinking. (Thank you Roland from Roland Salsa Photography).

Ah, someday our foyer will look like this

Daddy Joe.

Crazy but true story-a squirrel in the tree above was cutting off green pinecones with his teeth and whirling them at us. This is L's "are you really going to risk my life for a picture" look.

"See, I'm smiling!"

Someone is missing cause a certain tired 3 year declared that she was done with pictures.

She said she just wanted to watch (UGH!)

So we got some pictures of Hannah instead.

If Hannah is looking entertained and focused on something she is.

Hannah loves nothing more than to watch her big sister run amok.

Wow, that big sister of yours really is funny.

"I am the queen of the castle!"

She was SO tired.

After getting her tired wiggles out we thought we would try again-with minimal success.

We threw in the parenting towel-for just a moment.

  1. Okay, I will summarize my thoughts on these pictures by directly quoting the very first thing to come out of my mouth:
"WHAT? So cute." "I want the purple shirt, I want the necklace." "Why can't I ever have cute clothes like that?" "Wow, it's not raining, I am surprised" "Love the cowboy boots, love the newborn headbands" -Actual Erin Thoughts
