This week Linnea learned how to scoot! Well she learned how to move her body around and scoot backwards. She does slow laps around the house, and sometimes scoots her self back into a tight spot :-)
Joe decided that it was high time for Linnea to begin her love of baseball so he went out and got her first pink ball. Joe was so proud of how she immediately knew how to "palm" it. They have been working on rolling the ball back and forth on the floor.
We don't quite get it but Linnea likes to dangle a stuff animal from her mouth while she is doing other things-like playing with other toys or scooting across the room. Maybe she is just an early multi tasker, nonetheless it makes us laugh.
L's favorite toys are her little spoon, a metal bowl, a plastic measuring spoon and an empty water bottle. Why do we still buy toys?
Linnea tried her first finger foods this week, Cheerios! She loved picking them up and putting them in her mouth. Although she is really good at pinching the Cheerio up she has not quite gotten the hang of letting it go just right in her mouth. When she gets one in there she looks so proud of herself.
Good job, Linnea
Linnea's new meal time antic is to take a couple of bites of food and then stick her foot in her mouth. No, she has not just discovered her feet, for they have been a point of interest for a few months now. I guess she just thinks that baby oatmeal needs a chaser of foot. Needless to say we are having to clean her feet after each meal as well.
I finally let Linnea sit like a big girl in the cart at Trader Joe's. She was tired but seem to really enjoy it. I have been waiting to get a cart cover, but haven't found one I like. Anyone have any suggestions?
Linnea Loves to laugh and laugh and laugh. The other day she was laughing so hard that she fell back, and still kept laughing. It was the cutest thing!
Laughing hard
Laughing harder
Oops fell, but still laughing
