Why Intentful not Intentional

Why intentful and not intentional: I was thinking about how much time I spend just thinking but not actually doing and laughed to myself that I was a "thoughtful" person but what I need to be is an "intentful" person. My thoughts need to transcend into intentional action and thus I need to move away from being "thoughtful" to "intentful".

Our Big Girl

Linnea is growing up so fast! Today, we decided to try a sippy cup. Linnea took to the sippy cup as she has taken to everything else that involves edible substance-quite well! Joe held out the cup, she grabbed it, put it to her mouth, leaned back, and drank. Since she is nearly six months we will be trying rice cereal in the next couple of days- we are really hoping for similar results.

Linnea's great accomplishment this week has been learning to give hugs or "huggies" as we call them in this house. I stretch out my arms and say "HUGGIES", Linnea stretches out her arms, and then as I lean in to give her a hug she leans over and hugs my right arm and nestles her head. If she isn't really in the mood for the whole hug she will just head butt my right arm. For some reason it is always the right arm.
