Why Intentful not Intentional
Why intentful and not intentional: I was thinking about how much time I spend just thinking but not actually doing and laughed to myself that I was a "thoughtful" person but what I need to be is an "intentful" person. My thoughts need to transcend into intentional action and thus I need to move away from being "thoughtful" to "intentful".

Bookworm
Much to our delight Linnea seems to have an interest in books-well at least their pictures. About a month a go she grabed her first book on her own (see last picture). Typically, we read to her first and then she takes the book to examine it herself. And sometimes after a good flipping through the pictures her mouth gives it an examine as well. She prefers cardboard books with bright pictures.
This week L has had two major accomplishments. First, she became an accomplished sitter, and secondly she has learned the joys of potty humor. She loves to purse her lips together and make farting sounds. Joe and L have begun communicating this way-Joe "farts", L "farts", they both smile. Joe does a long "fart", L mimics, they both giggle. And on and on in goes.

I too am glad the Em likes reading. I also got her a book that I put our pictures in and she laughs when she sees the pictures. I guess she thinks her parents are funny looking.
ReplyDeleteShe comes by that love of books honestly. It runs in the family. :) Many of us have good taste in books, but she's the only one I know that thinks books taste good!
ReplyDeleteBTW, you're doing a nice job with this blog. It's nice to see all the pictures. Thank you!
I love the picture of her with the book. It seems to be a real page turner!
